We grow for nature’s sake

To be more specific, we grow greens! We also develop technology so that others can do the same. That way we can all be local farmers and change the world a little bit.

It all started in a basement

The three friends Petter, Robin and Natalie were curious about the potential that vertical farming could have in a cold country like Sweden. Fueled by their curiosity, they started experimenting with LED-lights and voilá - Grönska was born! Since 2014 we have continued to develop, build and test vertical farming technology.

With the aim of making cities self-sufficient

Fast forward four years to 2018, we took a step closer to our vision of self-sufficient cities by opening one of Europe’s largest vertical farms, in the outskirts of Stockholm.

On a large AND small scale

In 2017 we released our first GrowOff, the indoor farming module where you can grow 300 plants per month on a single square meter. Cool right? One step closer to self-sufficiency!
